Fixed insect screens

Fixed insect screens are the simplest solution to protect against unwanted insects at the most affordable price. They are suitable for installation on those windows where the access to external windowsill is not needed. They are durable and require simple assembly and disassembly, installation and removal. An almost invisible glass fiber mesh screen is stretched over an aluminum frame (25 x 11 mm). The mesh screen is resistant to external weather conditions, minimally reduces the air flow and is fixed to the frame by a rubber tube.

Fixed insect screens can be made in non-standard and irregular shapes, for example for use on slated windows.

All insect screens are made in three standard colours – white, brown and grey. For an extra charge they can be painted in a desired RAL colour hue.

Fixed insect screen with a screw: Insect screen is mounted directly on the window frame from the outside. It can be removed by turning the clip.

Fixed insect screen with a spring pin: Mounted through the side of the profile, in the window opening. The flow of light is reduced by the width of the insect screen profile.

Size restraints: Maximum dimensions of fixed insect screens are:

  • Width: 220 cm
  • Height: 220 cm
  • Surface: 2,5 m2

For widths or heights of more than 1 m we recommend adding a crossbar. Otherwise, the insect screen could bend.

Roller insect screen

Roller insect screen is the most used and very durable system of protection against insects. This is the most appropriate choice if you need to access the external window sills simply and open the insect screen frequently, for example for taking care of flowers on the window sill. Raising and lowering the insect screen is extremely simple; the screen is moved along the guide tracks and wound onto the tube, which is mounted in an aluminum box. Installation is simple as well and requires very little space.

Roller insect screens can be opened vertically or horizontally. They can be self-contained or almost seamlessly integrated into external blinds (roller shutters and venetian blinds). It is often possible to add them to existing external blinds.

All insect screens are made in three standard colours – white, brown and grey. For an extra charge they can be painted in a desired RAL colour hue.
