What are U-values

In a nutshell, this means: The lower the U-value, the better the window is at retaining heat.

You don't have to worry whether the windows produced by our firm meet the requirements of the Regulation on Energy Saving. Even today PVC windows meet future requirements of the Regulation. Please do not hesitate to find out more about it in our factory.

The lower the U-value the better thermal insulation

  • Ug = Value for the glass (g = glas)
  • Uf = Value for the frame (f = frame)
  • Uw = Value for the entire window (w = window)
  • Ud = Value for the entire door (d = door)
